Picking up Items


Items are shown with a colored smoke to make it easier to find them when they are on a platform. In order to pick up an item, it has to be touched. A simple UI then opens showing the item stats. This shield increases armor while standing still, but it slows down rotation.

The user decides what item to throw away - which is destroyed due to the character's curse. This hopefully leads a bit of thinking as there is no turning back once the decision was made.

Finally, shields as well as weapons are shown on the character, while amulets, rings and other eqipment is only shown with an icon in the UI.

If you look closely on the item stats, you might see a design bug which I will fix right now :)
