Jump and Run


A new aspect of the game is a simple jump mechanic to get some loot shown here with a green smoke. There are two things that make this mechanic interesting - first, for each 4 units of falling you will get one point of damage. And second the equipment can influence your jumping in several ways: the jump height may be in- or decreased, jump speed and therefore range may change, damage can be increased for heavy eqipment and so on. So in order to get high value loot, light equipment must be chosen which is rather bad for the combat aspect of the game.

This design leads to characters that may not get every item based on their equipment, but I can live with that :)
